New Case Management System: What you need to know
STOCKTON, Calif. -The Superior Court of California, County of San Joaquin, will transition to our new case management system, e-Court, effective August 24, 2026. Our goal is to create efficiencies to better serve our court users.
To help minimize disruption during the transition, please note the following important dates and changes.
eFiling & payment system
All case types will not be available from August 21st at 5:00 PM through August 24th at 8:00 AM.

ATP (Ability to Pay) Payment Portal
Financial hardship requests will not be available from August 17th at 5:00 PM through August 24th at 8:00 AM. Please visit our traffic website for alternative options.
Case Search Public Portal (Currently FCE)
The Court’s online case information portal will be unavailable from August 21st at 5:00 PM through August 24th at 8:00 AM.
eCourt | New Case Management System
Starting August 24, 2026, at 8:00 AM, anyone wishing to access public court records via eCourt will need to create a user account, which requires registration to log in. Please note the following tutorial video will not be available for public viewing until August 23, 2026.
