Update to Temporary Changes to Clerk's Office Hours

Temporary Changes to Clerk's Office Hours

Due to unexpected delays, we are amending our Public Notice issued on April 15, 2026.

The Superior Court of California, County of San Joaquin, provides public notice, pursuant to Government Code section 68106, of temporary changes to the Clerk's Office at all courthouse locations as the Court deploys a new court-wide case management system.

Clerk's Counter and Phone Hours

The following adjusted hours will be in effect Monday–Friday, excluding court holidays:

  • June 15, 2026 – August 14, 2026: Open 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • August 17, 2026 – September 4, 2026: Open 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
  • September 7, 2026 – October 30, 2026: Open 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

These Changes Will Affect All Court Locations

  • Stockton Courthouse
180 E. Weber Avenue, Stockton, CA
  • Lodi Branch Courthouse
    • 315 W. Elm Street, Lodi, CA
    • 217 W. Elm Street (2nd Floor), Lodi, CA 95240
  • Manteca Branch Courthouse
315 E. Center Street, Manteca, CA
  • Juvenile Justice Center
535 W. Mathews Road, French Camp, CA

During this period, courtrooms will remain open at all court locations. Cases already scheduled for hearing will proceed as planned. Courtrooms will continue to conduct arraignments and preliminary examinations, handle time-sensitive matters, and sign necessary emergency documents as required by law. Jury office hours will remain the same, and jurors should report as directed on their summons.

Document drop boxes will remain available at all branch courts for same-day filing of documents deposited before 4:00 p.m. A self-addressed stamped envelope must be included with all drop box transactions. Restraining orders and Emergency Order requests will continue to be available for pick‑up at 3:30 p.m. in both the Civil and Family Law Departments.

The Court finds it necessary to implement these temporary public counter‑hour modifications. Deployment of the new case management system will begin on Monday, August 24, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. All case management systems and public portals will be unavailable during the weekend of August 22–23, 2026.
